UrgeShield is a gambling recovery app for iPhone by Jacob Engemann. It brings selected app and website blocking, a gambling-free streak, savings estimates, and support resources into one place.
The Shield uses Apple’s Screen Time controls for the apps and websites you select. Its in-app unblock flow includes a 24-hour delay. These controls add friction; they cannot promise that every route to gambling is blocked.
Clear expectations
Savings figures are estimates based on information you enter, not a bank balance. Availability, eligibility for a trial, subscription options, device requirements, and release notes are listed on the App Store. UrgeShield is a supportive tool, not a provider of professional treatment.
